Champions in the Community
Under the guidance of the Sioux Falls Area Community Foundation, the Stampede Foundation for Kids provides financial contributions to help promote and care for the youth in our communities - especially those that are considered at-risk and with special needs.
The Foundation also supports the rapidly growing area youth hockey associations. Coaches and players hold clinics, serve as volunteer coaches, provide ice time for mite games at the Sioux Falls Arena between periods of Stampede games, and permit a child to serve as an honorary member of the team's starting line-up at each home game.
The Stampede have contributed over $18,000 in financial support to area youth hockey association's since the inaugural 1999-2000 season.
