TONIGHT’S GAME: The Stampede return home to the PREMIER Center to face the Sioux City Musketeers for the first time this season at home and for the second time overall this year. The Musketeers downed the Herd 2-1 in a shootout back in early October at the Tyson Events Center. These two teams will meet six more times this season after tonight.

STAMPEDE UPDATE: The Herd are coming off one of their biggest comebacks of all-time last Saturday against Cedar Rapids. Trailing 6-0 in the second period, the Herd rallied with six unanswered goals to tie the game and earn a point in a 7-6 shootout loss to the RoughRiders. Artem Ivanyuzhenkov tallied two goals in the rally while Khristian Acosta tallied a goal and two assists and Carson Dimoff and Jack St Ivany each posted a goal and an assist in the game.

Tonight is the second of six home games during the month of November for the Herd who are still searching for their first home win of the year (0-2-2). The Stampede played seven of their first ten games on the road during the month of October and play six of eight games at home during November.

MUSKETEERS UPDATE: The Musketeers are coming off a rough weekend in which they gained just one point in two games. On Friday, the Musketeers tied Waterloo 2-2 early in the third period, but the Black Hawks prevailed in overtime, scoring just 59 seconds into the extra session. On Saturday, the Musketeers hosted Lincoln and watched the Stars score four first period goals en route to a 6-3 victory over the Musketeers.

The Musketeers are led by #8 Sampo Ranta who has seven points in nine games this season. Hayden Rowan has five points (2g, 3a) while Matt Jurusik has seen the majority of the time in between the pipes, posting a 2-3-2 mark with a 2.54 GAA and a .897 save percentage.

UP NEXT: The Stampede hit the road tomorrow night to face the Lincoln Stars at 7:05 PM. Fans can listen live on KELO News Talk 1320-AM, 107.9-FM and KELO.com or watch on HockeyTV.com.

The Herd return home next Friday and Saturday night to face the Muskegon Lumberjacks for a weekend series. Next Saturday is the annual Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by Dental Solutions. Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the game and toss them onto the ice after the Herd score their first goal of the game. All bears collected will be delivered to local charities in the area by the players. Game times Friday and Saturday are 7:05 PM and tickets are available through the PREMIER Center.
