TONIGHT’S GAME: The Stampede travel down I-29 to face the Lincoln Stars for the first time this season. Last year, the Herd went 1-2-1 against the Stars and were 0-2-0 at the Ice Box. The Herd enter tonight with a 4-2-1 mark on the road this season.

STAMPEDE UPDATE: The Herd are coming off a heartbreaking loss last night at home against Sioux City. Leading 1-0 midway through the third period, the Musketeers found the back of the net and tied the game to eventually force overtime. Sioux City would take the game with a goal just 1:18 into the extra session and keep the Stampede winless at home this season (0-2-3).

The Stampede will be looking to get out of a little funk as they enter tonight winless in their last four games (0-1-3), but have gathered at least a point in four of their last seven games and enter tonight 4-4-4 and in third place in the Western Conference.

STARS UPDATE: The Stars were idle last night, but are coming off a 6-3 victory at Sioux City last Saturday night. The Stars have played just eight games this season and play just six games during the month of November. The Stars are led by forward Deviln McCabe who has 8 points (3g, 5a) in eight games. Thomas Vomacka is 3-3-0 in goal with a 3.01 GAA and a .903 save percentage.

UP NEXT:  The Herd return home next Friday and Saturday night to face the Muskegon Lumberjacks for a weekend series. Next Saturday is the annual Teddy Bear Toss Night, presented by Dental Solutions. Fans are encouraged to bring new stuffed animals to the game and toss them onto the ice after the Herd score their first goal of the game. All bears collected will be delivered to local charities in the area by the players. Game times Friday and Saturday are 7:05 PM and tickets are available through the PREMIER Center.
