The pride the community takes in the team and organization. You can really feel it as a player and it gives you something to play for every night.

- Josh Passolt, former Stampede captain

The Sioux Falls Stampede was established in 1999. The organization has set out to achieve excellence in on- and off-ice performance since inception. Our commitment is well reflected in our history and achievements. We have qualified for the Clark Cup playoffs in 15 of our 20 years of existence. We encourage all prospective and current players to continue our track and perform to their highest abilities.

We believe character champions success. When playing for the Stampede, all players are treated in a professional manner, complimented with first-class amenities, coaching and development provided by the team, staff and organization. Therefore, Stampede players must always conduct themselves in a respectful manner both on and off the ice.

Stampede hockey fans are the greatest in the United States Hockey League and we all take pride in our organization, regularly turning out in the thousands to cheer on the Herd.

As a member of Stampede hockey, you will take part in one of the greatest experiences of your lifetime. We are collectively known as Stampede Country and our fans will always bleed blue, scream loud and ring their cowbells.

We all proudly wear the Blue and Gold.
