Specialty jerseys, scavenger hunt and post-game skate planned

Family fun is planned when the Stampede return to the PREMIER Center on Sunday for a St. Partrick’s Day tilt against rival Fargo at 5:05 PM, presented by the Sioux Falls Humane Society and Paws Pet Resort. It’s the only time we will ever tell you to wear green to a Stampede game!

Doors will open at 4 PM and fans can enjoy delicious food from Spectra who are getting into the fun with green cotton candy and kettle corn at the concession stands. In addition, there will be green hot dog buns and, of course, green beer at the Hops House beer stands! Green jello shots will be available at the bar inside Club Cambria and the Cabana Cart. A special green cocktail will be available for purchase at the bars on the suite level.

Take part in our St. Patrick’s Day scavenger hunt where kids who complete the hunt successfully can take home a Stampede prize! Dress in your favorite St. Patrick’s Day outfit and enter our best dressed contest for a chance to win more prizes. Finally, intermission games will be themed around the holiday as well.

On the ice, Stampede players will be wearing special green St. Patrick’s Day themed jerseys. Fans will have a chance to win a jersey right off the players backs through a raffle that will benefit the Sioux Falls Humane Society and the Stampede Foundation For Kids. Half of the jerseys will be raffled off during the first intermission and the other half will be raffled off during the second intermission. Winners will have a chance to meet the player on the ice and received an autograph on the jersey.

Fans of all ages are encouraged to bring their skates to the game and skate on the PREMIER Center ice right after the game for 30 minutes. Stampede players will be made available after the jersey presentation on the ice to skate with fans while other select players will sign autographs off the ice for non-skating fans. As a reminder, the PREMIER Center do not have skate rentals so please bring your own to the game.

Tickets for this special contest are available through the PREMIER Center or Ticketmaster outlet. The Stampede office will be open all week 8 AM to 5 PM for all your ticketing needs as well.
