Sioux Falls, SD—The Stampede scored early and often in an 8-1 route of the Lincoln Stars Tuesday night at the PREMIER Center. The win gave the Stampede (36-15-7) 79 points and moved them into a second place tie with Waterloo with four games remaining in the regular season. Seven different players tallied goals in the victory as the Stampede set a franchise record for most home wins in a season at the PREMIER Center with 21. The goal was Ivanyuzhenkov’s 25th of the season and 46th of his career. The Herd added to their lead at 9:29 when Blake Bride notched his 14th of the season. Jared Westcott Broke in down the left wing side and sent a pass across the ice to Bride who quickly wristed it into the upper right-hand corner of the net for a 2-0 lead. Andre Lee scored just 1:05 into the period when he deflected a pass from Sam Stevens in for a 5-1 advantage. The Herd added to their lead at 8:10 when Ivanyuzhenkov’s shot was stopped, but Mason Klee came in and picked up the rebound wristed it over the right shoulder of Hlavaj for a commanding 6-1 lead.
