Dental Solutions Youth Hockey Appreciation Night

The Stampede host the Des Moines Buccaneers in the final game of a two-game series and the second of three straight games at the PREMIER Center. Tonight is Youth Hockey Appreciation Night, presented by Dental Solutions. Here’s what you need to know: 

  • Doors: Open at 6 PM
  • Parking: Free for guests. With another event taking place at the Convention Center, we encourage you to plan ahead and arrive early.
  • Tickets: On sale through the KELOLAND Box Office or click here to purchase online
  • Stampede office is open 12- 4 PM today for any ticketing needs. A reminder the office is now located at 1111 N. Lake Avenue.
  • Youth Hockey Appreciation: Kids wearing their youth hockey jerseys or youth hockey apparel can register at the top of the stairs in the main concourse for a chance to win some great prizes, including ice seats to an upcoming game, a team autographed youth hockey jersey, team signed mini sticks, signed pucks and more! Only youth hockey players wearing apparel are eligible to enter and there is no cost to enter.

 

  • First Intermission: The Mitchell Marlins take to the ice in a battle of up-and-coming superstars to entertain fans.
  • Second Intermission: Famous chuck-a-puck returns as fans can purchase pucks for a chance to win some great prizes from local businesses in the area while supporting a local youth baseball organization.    

 

Matchup: Des Moines (20-13-4) vs Stampede (16-19-3)

  • The Stampede dropped their fourth straight game last night, dropping the opener by a score of 5-1 to the Buccaneers.
  • The Stampede and Bucs were tied 1-1 late in the second period, but the Bucs got a goal with just over 90 seconds remaining to take the lead and went on to add three more goals in the third period en route to the victory.
  • The Stampede still hold a 3-2-0 mark against the Bucs this season and can win the season series with a victory tonight over Des Moines.
  • The Bucs sit in fourth place in the West, just one point back of third and three points back of second place in the conference.   

 

Masks: Are strongly encouraged while up and out of your seats in the main concourse area. We ask that you please maintain socially distancing and be respectful of others to keep yourself, our players and our staff, safe. 

Fans who do not have a face covering when entering the building can pick up a disposable mask at each entrance. The club also has Stampede themed masks available for purchase through their Pro Shop at the PREMIER Center and online at sfstampede.com.
