SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sioux Falls Stampede fell 5-1 in a weekend sweep to the Tri-City Storm at the PREMIER Center Saturday night. Cole Sillinger scored for the Herd, while Burnham made the start in net.
Cole O’Hara scored the opening goal for the second-straight night at 2:59 of the first period. Cole Sillinger even the score with a goal at 14:40, collecting a pass from Clint Levens and tucking it under the stick of Todd Scott. Rhett Pitlick gave the Storm the lead at 17:40 and Victor Czerneckianair gave the Storm the 3-1 lead into the first intermission.
Pitlick and Matthew Knies tallied a pair of goals at 1:45 and 10:54 of the third period for the 5-1 victory.
