SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sioux Falls Stampede forward Luke Toporowski will return from loan to begin the quarantine process required to rejoin the Spokane Chiefs of the Western Hockey League. Toporowski will then be eligible to play in the final six games of the Chiefs’ regular season.
Luke Toporowski joined Sioux Falls on January 10 and played his first game against the Sioux City Musketeers four days later at the PREMIER Center, recording an assist and the game-winning overtime goal. Toporowski went on to record a total 33 points on 14 goals and 19 assists in 32 games played. He is currently fourth in team scoring for the 2020-21 season with two games remaining.
The Stampede return to action this weekend for the final two games of the 2020-21 season against the Lincoln Stars. The Herd hosts the Stars at the PREMIER Center for the final game of the season on Saturday for Take My Jersey Night presented by PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard. The first 1,000 fans 12 and under will receive a replica third jersey. Tickets available at any Ticketmaster location or inside the KELOLAND Box Office at the PREMIER Center.
