The Sioux Falls Stampede have partnered with CU Mortgage Direct to present a brand-new themed night this season, “Dash for Cash” on Saturday, December 11th at 6:05 PM when the Stampede host the Tri-City Storm.
The event will include $5,000 in cash for local area teachers to try and take home. During the intermission, 10 teachers will have 60-seconds at center-ice to grab as many $1 bills as possible that can then in turn be used for improvements for their classroom and/or school. An example of the event with the Green Bay Gamblers can be viewed here.
In addition, each school will receive a link with a special ticket offer in which $5 from each ticket purchased will go back to their school. The goal of the event is to raise as much money as possible for each teacher and their respective school.
The Stampede and CU Mortgage Direct are currently taking applications for teachers interested in taking part in the event. They can register by visiting sfstampede.com/dashforcash or by simply clicking here.
The deadline to register for the event is October 8th and the Stampede will reach out to the teachers who are selected so they can begin training for this special event.
Tickets for Dash for Cash night are on sale now through the KELOLAND Box Office or any Ticketmaster outlet.
