What you need to know about tonight's game

Herd host Omaha

The Stampede host the Omaha Lancers for Rosenbauer America night. Here’s what you need to know: 

  • Doors: Open at 5 PM                                                                        
  • Parking: Free for guests.                                                                  
  • Tickets: On sale through the KELOLAND Box Office or click here to purchase online                                                                     
  • Stampede office is open 12 PM- 3PM today for any ticketing needs. A reminder the office is now located at 1111 N. Lake Avenue.               
  • Hockey Shootout: Test out your hockey skills and see if you have what it takes to score on our Stampede hockey shootout, just outside Section 119.                                                                             
  • First Intermission: Prairie Farms Strongest Milk Competition: Think you’ve got what it takes to take part in our strongest milkman competition? Two people will be put to the test to see who’s strongest and take home some great prizes from Prairie Farms.                                                                                                   
  • Second Intermission: Chuck-a-Puck. Purchase chuck-a-pucks to benefit the South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association in the main concourse (just outside Section 102) for a chance to win one of 15 different prizes!

Matchup: Omaha (7-4-2) vs Stampede (4-8-0)

  • Tonight is the second meeting of the season between these two teams. They will meet a total of eight times during the 21-22 campaign.

 

  • Omaha took the first game of the weekend series last night with a 5-2 victory at Ralston Arena.

 

  • The Herd fell behind 3-0 in the first eight minutes of the game, but rallied with goals from Clint Levens and Cal Thomas to pull within a goal in the first. The Lancers scored with just under four minutes remaining in regulation though and then sealed the victory with an empty netter.

 

  • Omaha enters tonight having won four straight games and are 5-1-1 in their last seven games.

 

  • After playing just three home games, tonight is the start of five straight for the Stampede at the PREMIER Center who will be home Friday and Saturday each of the next two weeks.
