Friday night is Wheelco night as the Herd host the Sioux City Musketeers at 7:05 PM. For the first time since 2019, the Kids Zone returns near the Hall of Fame area! Free inflatables and games for the kids thanks to Bounce Around Inflatables! The rivalry on the ice speaks for itself, but stay in your seats in between periods for lots of fun. The first intermission is the Prairie Farms Strongest Milkman competition where two people will compete to show who is the strongest. The 2nd intermission includes a brand new game, Sky Zone Dodgeball as two teams will compete on ice to show us their Dodgeball skills!
Saturday night is Military Appreciation Night, presented by Royal River Casino Hotel & Casino. Military members can receive free tickets to the game by stopping by the Stampede office at 1111 N. Lake Avenue thanks to our generous corporate partners who have donated tickets to the game.
Doors open at 5 PM and once again the Kids Zone will be open! On-ice pre-game festivities begin at 6 PM. Be sure to be in your seat as members of the South Dakota Army National Guard rappel from the ceiling for a special ceremonial puck drop. Other members of the South Dakota Army National Guard will be on the ice with the American flag for a special edition of the national anthem.
Players will be wearing specialty jerseys for the game that will be available for fans to win through a silent auction on the DASH Auction app and website. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Warriors Never Give Up. The Stampede will also pay tribute to the men and women of our armed forces throughout the game that evening.
First intermission will feature a Reliabank Shootout between members of the Army Guard and the second intermission features chuck-a-puck which will benefit Warriors Never Give Up.
Tickets for both games are also available through the KELOLAND Box Office at the PREMIER Center. For more information, contact the Stampede office at 605-275-4625.
