Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux City Musketeers crashed Stomp's birthday bash with two rallying power play goals within five seconds of each other in the final frame to win 3-1 at the PREMIER Center Saturday night. Jack Silich tallied the lone goal for the Sioux Falls Stampede while goaltender Noah Grannan stopped 41 of 44 shots in net.

Jack Silich opened up scoring for the Stampede at 9:23 in the first period, burying a bouncing rebound in front of the net for his fourth of the year to make it 1-0. The Herd would hold that lead for the rest of the first period and the entirety of the second. Sioux City outshot Sioux Falls 15-10 in the first, while a scoreless second period saw the Stampede outshot 13-3 by the Musketeers.

Sioux City would finally get on the board at 1:56 in the third period when a shot in the slot by Nick Pierre found the back of the net for his 14th of the season. The floodgates would open for the Musketeers shortly after, as back-to-back chances on the man advantage would result in two power play goals within five seconds of each other to make it a 3-1 game.

Sioux Falls was outshot 16-6 in the third period and 44-19 in the game. The Stampede went 0-for-3 on the powerplay while the Musketeers were 2-for-5.

The Stampede are on the road next weekend, taking on the Fargo Force in Fargo on Friday and Saturday before hosting the Force at the PREMIER Center on Sunday. Puck drop is at 4:05 PM on Sunday and there will be a post-game skating party on the ice following play. Tickets are still available at sfstampede.com/tickets.
