Dennis Kravchenko’s (Cedar Rapids) goal with 34 seconds left in the game lifted Team Green past Team Blue, 6-5 in the first game of Stampede tryout camp Saturday morning at Ridder Arena in Minneapolis. Sam Majka (Wayzata High School) and Kent Sherrer (Stampede) both tallied two goals while Drew Best (Victory Honda) added a goal for Team Green. For Team Blue, Joseph Cangelosi (Trenton Habs Jr.) found the back of the net twice while Ryan Siiro (Dubuque), Brian LeBlanc (Hermantown High School) and Mitch Snyder (Colorado Rampage) all had a goal for Team Blue.
Over 100 kids are in camp this year and each player will get to play at least three games over the weekend. Gold and Navy will face-off next.
