ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME:

 

The Stampede (10-4-0) face the Tri-City Storm (5-9-1) for the third time this season. The Herd are 2-0-0 against the Storm, including a 5-0 win in Kearney, Neb. last Friday night. The Herd are 8-1-0 at home this season and won back-to-back games last week, defeating the Storm on Friday and then the first place Lincoln Stars on Saturday, 5-2.

Dennis Kravchenko leads the way for the Stampede with 17 points (8g, 9a) while Todd Skirving leads with 10 goals on the year. Charlie Lindgren was named USHL Goaltender of the Week after posting back-to-back wins last weekend and is now 6-3-3 with a 2.56 GAA and a .904 save percentage.

Trevor Moore leads the way for the Storm with 15 points (6g, 9a) in 15 games. Brian Ward leads the team with eight goals and is second overall with 13 points. Johan Mattson has been solid between the pipes for Tri-City, posting a 5-6-0 record with a 2.74 GAA and a .913 save percentage. The Storm are coming off a 5-1 loss to Dubuque on Wednesday.

The Stampede return home Saturday to take on the Dubuque Fighting Saints who have the best record in the USHL at 13-1-1. Game time is 7:05 PM. The first 1,000 fans through the doors receive a free commemorative Stampede medallion! Doors open at 6:15 PM.
