ABOUT TONIGHT'S GAME:

 

·         The Stampede face the Musketeers for the sixth time this season. The Herd hold a 5-0-0 record against Sioux City this year, including back-to-back wins last weekend.

 

·         The Herd enter tonight on an eight-game winning streak and having won 11 of their last 12 games.

 

·         Tonight is the second of nine straight games on the road for the Herd who are 7-4-1 away from home and are 5-1-1 in his last seven games.

 

·         The Stampede are coming off a penalty filled win last night in Des Moines, topping the Buccaneers 7-1. A franchise record 295 combined penalty minutes were called in the game. The Stampede had 19 powerplay opportunities in the game, scoring four powerplay goals. Tony Calderone led the way with his first career USHL hat trick while Zeb Knutson added two goals of his own.

 

·         The Stampede have scored 15 goals in their last two games combined. They rank second in total goals scored in the league with 131.

 

·         The Musketeers are coming off a 3-2 overtime loss last night at home to Lincoln. It was the eighth overtime/shootout loss of the year for the Musketeers.

 

·         Sioux City traded forward Tanner Pond and defenseman Michael Holland earlier this week.
