  • The Stampede square off against the Omaha Lancers in the fifth of eight meetings between the two teams this year. The Herd are 1-3-0 this year against Omaha, including a 3-2 loss at Omaha on Wednesday.

· Dating back to last season, the Herd are just 1-8-3 against the Lancers.

· The Stampede suffered their third straight loss on Wednesday in Ralston, falling by a goal against the Lancers. Kyle Schempp and C.J. Franklin scored in the loss for the Herd while Charlie Lindgren stopped 29 shots in goal.

· After going 8-2-0 in January the Herd are 1-2-1 so far during the month of February and winless in their last three games, the longest stretch this season without a win.

· Sioux Falls enters tonight three points ahead of Fargo for first place and four points ahead of the Lancers.

· The Stampede hold a 17-5-0 mark at home this season and are 6-1-0 in their last seven home games.

· Omaha is riding a six-game winning streak into tonight’s game and are winners in 11 of their last 12 games.

· Since starting the season 10-10-0, the Lancers have gone 18-7-0 and are the only team in the Western Conference without an overtime or shootout loss. The Lancers are 8-0-0 in shootouts this season.

· The Lancers have been outshot in every game during their six game winning streak.

· Omaha is 20-5-0 when scoring the first goal of the game this season.

· The Lancers enter with the top penalty kill unit in the league, clicking at 86%.

· These two teams will meet again next Saturday in Omaha. The regular season will close out with two games in Sioux Falls on March 29th and April 13th.
