Sioux Falls, S.D. – Sioux Falls Stampede forward Kevin Conley announced Monday on Twitter his commitment to play collegiate hockey at the University of Nebraska, Omaha.
The 6-foot forward born in 1997 has made a major scoring impact after leaving the University of Denver program and having his USHL rights traded by the Youngstown Phantoms in the offseason, scoring 19 points (9 G, 10 A) in 30 games. He is currently fifth in team scoring.
The University of Nebraska, Omaha is located in Omaha, Nebraska. The hockey program is members of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. Other conference opponents include Colorado College, St. Cloud State University, University of Denver, University of Minnesota, Duluth, University of North Dakota, University of Miami, Ohio, and Western Michigan. The Mavericks are currently in fifth place with a 5–7 record.
The Wausau, Wis. native is scheduled to join the Mavericks in the fall 2018.
